Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to the Safe QR Assist app (identifier dev.safeqrassist) for Android and iOS, presented on maxhubx.com.br.
Data the app uses
- Camera: used to scan QR codes while the scanning screen is open. The camera image is not sent off the device.
- Gallery images: the app only accesses the image you pick in the system picker, to look for a QR code in it.
- Scanned and generated content: shown on screen and, with history on, saved on the device. On the free plan the history keeps the 10 most recent items. You can turn history off and delete items.
- Preferences, such as theme and language, are saved on the device.
- Pro plan: purchases go through Google Play or the App Store. The app only stores on the device whether the Pro plan is active. Payment data stays with the store.
What the app does not do
- It does not send the content of scanned or generated QR codes to servers.
- It does not open links by itself: a link only opens when you tap to open it, and from then on the policy of the destination site or app applies.
- This version does not use usage analytics tools and does not show ads.
Backup and deletion
History and preferences are excluded from Android automatic backup and iCloud. Uninstalling the app deletes this data from the device.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts using ads, online link checking or any other external service, this policy will be updated beforehand, with the new date at the top of the page.
